Ravens tame the Cougars 59-29

Trey Bales and the Ravens had a successful win against the Shawnee Mission Northwest.

The Raven Boys began slowly against the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars, but due to a great 2nd quarter and senior Shavon Shields’s fantastic plays,the Ravens pulled down a win of 59 to 29 at home.  The first quarter ended in a tie between the two teams,and many feared that the Ravens would be having an off night for the first time.  Plays by Shields and senior Trey Bales helped keep the Ravens dreams alive and to a 29-13 halftime.

After halftime, the Ravens shut out the Cougars, scoring 30 more points to their total, shutting out the Cougars completely.  Seniors Willie Cauley and Davis Reid contributed to the score by scoring 8 points each for the Ravens.  Shields kept scoring more points in the night, leading to a scoring high of 25 points for the team.  The Ravens look played a fantastic game, and their winning streak has no end in sight as the Ravens take on Shawnee Mission North this Tuesday.
