Team 1710 is approaching the very end of our robotics season for the year, and I think it’s time to wrap it up with another blog post. For my first year on the team, I’m incredibly amazed at what we’ve done and how far FIRST has brought us over the course of the year. Build season was both exciting and rewarding, and it not only built our robot; it built spirit, dedication, and teamwork in each and every one of us. I’m proud to have accomplished so much in just one year; FIRST definitely has inspired me. After joining Team 1710, I had no doubt that FIRST would be a part of me for the rest of my life.
We may be finishing up for the season, but we’re still alive and kicking as we get into gear for the St. Louis championship. It’s been an honor to have made it this far. The Chicago Regional was one of the most exciting things I’ve witnessed, and I can’t even imagine how awesome it will be to go to internationals. I think I speak for the rest of the team when I say that we’re pumped to be going to St. Louis! However, work’s not over for me yet as I’m busy updating the website and putting up last minute content updates before we go for our final competition of the year.
It’s been a great year! This is Nick Robless, over and out.
