The team works to ensure that all groups are maintaining progress in order to make their deadlines. The team works together seamlessly to write four extremely important essays. The most prestigious award is the Chairman’s Essay, which is collaboratively written by all of the Awards Team and is about what makes our FIRST team unique. This award is one of the four that can take our team to Internationals. We also write the Woodie Flowers Essay, a nomination written about a mentor that goes above and beyond the call of duty. Lastly, there are two Dean’s List Essays written about two team members who have demonstrated exemplary community involvement, school involvement, and team involvement.
