Community Outreach

Team 1710 helps out the local community in many different ways, including Adopt-A-Street and Salvation Army bell ringing.

Adopt-A-Street: During the 2008-2009 season, Team 1710 decided to keep the community clean and adopted a stretch of road on College Boulevard, between Lone Elm Road and K-7 highway. Adopt-A-Street consists of keeping the street clean and well-maintained, and it is a great way to contribute to the image of our environment. The team goes out often to keep it clean and in good condition, but we also have lots of fun and it builds character.

Bell Ringing: Team 1710 is always willing to help out the community that supports us. One of the biggest ways that we can give back is through Salvation Army bell ringing. On December 10th and December 17th, volunteers from our team were outside local stores ringing bells for the Salvation Army. It was a great way to help raise money for the community and it also helped bond our team together.
