Health Expo

On December 8th, the P.E and weights classes held their 4th annual health expo. Personal trainers, police officers, and nutritionists gathered to inform the students of Olathe Northwest about how to lead a healthier life.

Students were given the chance to perform resuscitation on a practice dummy, participate in various physical therapy exercises, and learn different ways to maintain their eating. Also, the schools SRO brought his equipment to show to the kids. The equipment included a taser, a spike strip, and a oxygen mask.

Some students repeated P.E. or weights but enjoy the health expo every year! Students and teachers are looking forward to next year’s health expo to educate a new batch of students at Northwest.
