Health Expo

On December 8th the P.E and weights classes held their 4th annual health expo. Personal trainers, police officers and nutritionists gathered to inform the students of Olathe Northwest about how they can better their way of life.

Students were given the chance to perform resuscitation on a practice dummy, participate in various physical therapy exercises and learn different ways to maintain their eating. Also the schools SRO attended and he brought his equipment to show to the kids. The equipment included a taser, a spike strip and a oxygen mask.

Some students have repeated P.E. or weights but they enjoy the health expo every year! Students and teachers are looking forward to next year’s health expo to educate a new batch of students at Northwest.
