Lady Ravens win Sunflower Championship

The track team competed at Sunflower League championship last Friday at the newly renovated Leavenworth stadium. The Lady Ravens took home the team victory for the second year in row. Many runners took the podium starting with Macy Mckee with third place in the 100m hurdles followed by Jade Osborne placing third in the 300 hurdles. The Girls 4×100 team got first and are ranked first in the state. The girls 4×400 team got third in the meet. Maddie Righter got third in the high jump and long jump. Jaleesa Mcwashington got first in the long jump and second in the triple jump. These athletes got the Girls team to be Sunflower league champions. On the boys side Jo Brown got third in the 100, Michael Maranakis got first in the discus followed by Connor Boyd at second. Connor Boyd got third in the shot put. The track team is back in action at Regionals on Friday. Come cheer on your Ravens while they compete to go to state.
