Raven Football wins first playoff game in program history

The Olathe Northwest Football team faced Shawnee Mission South for the second straight week looking to win their first ever playoff game. The scoring was tight in the first half with the Ravens leading 14-0 on touchdown runs by Junior RB Andrew Dumas. After halftime, there was no looking back for the Ravens as QB Brayden Koch had a 3-yard TD run in the third quarter. Then in the fourth quarter, John Bowman joined in on the fun as he scored two touchdowns, one off a fumble recovery by Luc Wellman, to make the score 34-0. Shawnee Mission South tried to come back with a touchdown to make it 34-8, but the Ravens’ defense was too tough for the Raiders offense as the Ravens got their first ever playoff win in program history. The Ravens take on the Lancers of Shawnee Mission East this Friday at Shawnee Mission North Stadium at 7:00pm.
