Senior Sunrise

By Nicole Warner

On Friday, August 31st, the seniors bonded together in the early morning as they watched the sunrise and hung out before school started. This is a way to start to the school year of 2018-2019.  The Senior sunrise is a way to make new memories as Seniors heads off to finish their last year at ONW.

“The senior sunrise is a way to bring the seniors together to kick off the school year,” says Sydney Stephens. While waiting for the sun to rise many collaborate with their friends to share memorable moments they had. This event itself has contained many special moments for the ones who attended. Those memories are either school related, favorite childhood memories, or other topics that are memorable. As the event strolls along, the memories they created for this second event creates a stronger bond between other senior classmates and friends.

The Senior sunrise was an exciting event for many who showed up. As the event keeps going many fun moments happen besides sharing memories. “It was a lot of fun for everyone to come together and just hang out before school,” Libby Pirie states. Even though it was early in the morning, seniors still show up to hang out with friends without worrying about school starting just yet.

This event will always create special moments even though there are other events that will be going on later in the school year. Creating bonds and those special moments will always have a story. And those memorable moments will always be special as life goes on.
